Ideas for the Front of Your Post Cards

Full Bleed

No border... the entire image runs right off the edges of the card. Most images need to be cropped slightly for this style, but the closer the proportions of the picture to the proportions of the card size you choose, the less cropping required.

Borders

Floating an image on a white or color background creates the effect of a border around the picture. This is especially effective for photos that are not the same proportion as the card and also cannot be cropped. A number of border styles are available. Some, for example, can make the image appear framed or matted. A border color can be chosen from within your photograph, or let your imagination run wild and we'll try to match it.

Type

You can include a written message in the border or within the image area at no extra charge. The type can be any color or can be "reversed" out of an image or border color. The type color must contrast with the colors it covers within the image. Remember, use words to enhance an image, not to replace one. One picture is worth...

Good Photos Pay

The photograph you supply is the heart of your advertisement. The right light & camera angle makes the difference between a great image that sells and one that fails to impress. Transparencies & Slides (first generation reproductions) make the best cards, Glossy Photographs Prints (second generation) are not as good but still work well on smaller size cards.
