What is an XPress Card?
An XPress Card is printed using four color (CMYK) offset printing, using direct to plate 200 line screen printing. We use thick, 14-point glossy card stock, coated both sides with UV coating on the front side.
What is the difference between an XPress Card and a Premium ClarkCard?
Other than the big difference in price, there are other important differences:
1. There are NO PROOFS!
2. You must submit the card in a .PDF file format.
3. There are NO CHANGES once the file is approved, not even to shipping.
4. We print the color, copy and layout you submit to us in your file (We will contact you if your file is not usable).
5. Credit card payment must accompany the order.
Who should order XPress Cards?
XPress Cards are for those who are totally comfortable with and understand that the file submitted is what will be printed. Often the colors you see on your monitor are not the colors that will be printed. Monitors seldom match the Pantone Process Color System used to build colors for printing. If color is critical, and you want to see the color prior to printing, you should use our Premium ClarkCards that include a color proof.
Who should not order XPress Cards?
If you do not know what a .PDF file is or are not very familiar with designing and laying out your card in a page layout program, it would be best to allow us to help you design, layout and proof a Premium ClarkCard. We include many "extras" in ClarkCards. The quality of the XPress Card is in no way inferior to the Premium ClarkCard, but you do get exactly what is submitted in your file, with no changes. The file is uploaded to the press and printed as is.
